Disc 1

the making of the story, in this documentary presented from its London locations
by Matthew Sweet. Featuring actors Jon Pertwee, Peter Miles and Terence Wilton,
director Paddy Russell, producer Barry Letts, script editor Terrance Dicks and
designer Richard Morris.
• Deleted Scenes (dur. 0’ 45” and 4’ 00”) – a mute deleted scene from the
first episode, discovered in a cutting copy of the location film sequences, plus
deleted scenes from an earlier edit of episode three.
• Now & Then (dur. 13’ 43”) – the latest in our long-running series
visits the filming locations used in the story to see how much or how little
they have changed in almost forty years.
• John Levene Commentary (dur. 10’ 15”) – a single mic commentary for the
first ten minutes of episode five from the legendary John Levene (Sgt. Benton),
as he watches one of his favourite scenes from his time on the show.
• Doctor Who Stories: Elisabeth Sladen part 1 (dur. 14’ 00”) – Elisabeth
Sladen talks about her role on the programme in this interview shot for 2003’s
‘The Story of Doctor Who’.
• Billy Smart’s Circus (dur. 1’ 42”) – Jon Pertwee and the Whomobile join
in the fun at the circus.
The Android Invasion

location by Nicholas Briggs. Featuring actors Milton Johns and Martin Friend,
producer Philip Hinchcliffe and director Barry Letts.
• Life After Who – Philip Hinchcliffe (dur. 29’ 37”) – Celina Hinchcliffe
takes her father Philip on a trip down memory lane to recall his distinguished
career in British television and film.
• Weetabix Advert (dur. 0’ 32”) – TV advert for a Doctor Who themed
promotion for this breakfast cereal.
